Lil Kim - Black Friday Mixtape review

Sooo... we been hearing about the Lil Kim/ Nicki Minaj beef, my opinion is that it's corny but to each her own. I thought I would waste some of my life and download Lil Kim's "over 134K in one day" mixtape. Heres my review:

1: Intro
The DJ is talking some yadda yadda about back in the day how people used to pay homage and now people taking shots. Then the song from "Coming To America" - She Your Queen To Be starts playing, then they chop it up and loop it on what sounds like a weak Fruity Loop beat pattern, then it goes right into the next song

2. Did It On Them
We know this from Nicki's Pink Friday album and from the radio. The beat is dope but neither Kim or Nicki's raps were better than the beat itself. The slow flow with no witt doesn't work for me. On to the next...

3: Poppin Champagne ft Wiz Khalifa
This is Kim's ode to living the club life and bottle poppin'. She drops a lot of proper nouns through her lines that weave in and out about different types of bottles to pop. Wiz spits on his regular flow, he makes the song bearable. He keeps a few quotables that I could see being someone's twitter update or facebook status.

4: Hustle Hard
Crazy beat, lack luster lyrics. I'm really tryna be positive and give it a chance but if this was a cd, I would've been threw this out the window.

5: Killin Em ft Fabolous
Kim jacks one of Fab's recent hits and doesn't really kill 'em on this one. She is spitting sounding like a computer or some android. smh. I wish I was making this up.

6: 6 Foot Tall
This Kim rapping on Lil Wayne's comeback track. She reps a new team called IRS and shares the light with one of her fellow members who's name is not really clear through the song, but he was flowing better than her on this one. "My Bank account bigger than the belly on Ross, She hit high notes till her voice gets hoarse, she'll be another victim, casuality, corpse"

7: Clap Clap
This is another original song with Kim calling for a round of applause for all the rapping actors. This is best song and flow by far so far on this mixtape. Clever lines and good rhymes. She got her IRS fam on her too, they really aren't that bad on the flow side, but there is nothing really special about them though. They are decent though.

8: Kimmy Girl
This is Kim singing.. no, excuse me, T-Pain'n over Keri's hit "Pretty Girl Rock". She is doing a mix of singing and rapping with auto tune. not much to say on this one. NEXT!

9: Gimme Brain
Now Kim wanna go downsouth and takeover Travis Porters "Make It Rain" and rap on some Ying Yang "Whisper"-type flow. I can almost see girls requesting this at the club just because of the words, not becuase it's the hottest song out, but you know girls wanna say all type of crazy stuff in the club. This might be the next stripper anthem.

10: Cheatin ft Rihanna
"Kimmy Blanco" gets Rihanna to team up with her on this reggae inspired story about something that I can't figure out through her horrible accent. -_- . I'm really trying to be positive but you gotta hear this.... no.. don't waste your time.

11: Exclusive Radio Interview
This is Kim's radio interview speaking on all of whats been going down in her life lately, nobody cares tho. It's 16 mins, thats all im saying.

12: Grindin All Day Getting Money
This is the most confusing song. This Lil Kims ode to making money however she needs to. The thing that is confusing though is that she has Baby on the track with her. Yes, CEO of Cash Money and NICKI MINAJ. Yes Lil Kim but a song with her and Nicki on the same song. I guess this was made a couple of years ago. Maybe it was Baby's song, and he had both of them on it. Lil Kim's verse <>
