Never Thought I'd say this... But there is hip hop beef between two... White Rappers?

If you haven't seen any of the BET Hip Hop Awards Cyphers this year, then you've been living under a rock. There were a lot of highlights, however the one that really caught my attention was the Shady 2.0 Cypher with Yelawolf, Slaughterhouse and Eminem. Notably Yelawolf coming out throwing jabs like, “Plenty of white boys to pick from this year/But before you pick a pepper you better pick up your heater” After I heard it for myself I went through the list of white rappers to identify which one he was calling out. Machine Gun Kelly did the work for me by going on The Breakfast Club and telling them how much he didn't appreciate the diss. After Yelawolf heard the interview he fired back saying, “He's being sensitive. He thinks I'm talking about him,” he ended the interview by giving MGK some classic advice The best thing that he could do is if he has a problem or if he has something he needs to say to me, just say my name, dog. This is hip-hop, if you've got something you want to rap about, just rap about it.”

I doubt if anything serious or entertaining will come out of this. I'm sure it will die down with the outcome of both rappers being featured on a song about how white rappers need to stick together. All in all the cypher was very entertaining and it caused me to download some of Yela's work.

I just wonder when rappers will stop taking what other rappers are saying in these cyphers so serious...
