Jay-Z Says the Poem to Blue Ivy was Fake. SUBMITTED BY SHAY
Last week a heart felt poem that brought many, including myself, to
tears written by Jay-Z to his baby girl Blue Ivy hit the internet
stating that the rapper would no longer use the word Bitch. Well in a
recent interview that Jay-Z did, the rapper states that the poem and
the story are fake. With the release of this statement of course the
backlash has begun against Jay-Z. The use of the word bitch in rap has
been an ongoing debate for so many years. Many feel that it is
disrespectful to women and want all rappers to stop using the word.
Reading the comments that were put up under the story on
globalgrind.com were stupid and annoyed my life. Several people said
that because Jay will still use this word that he has no respect for
his mother, sisters, wife or child. Others feel he will not be a good
role model to his daughter. The comment that annoyed me the most was a
woman saying that when his daughter gets older and some guy calls her
a bitch he won’t be able to say anything because he didn’t stop saying
bitch when she was born. Smh, people and the stupid shit they say. My
argument in this topic has always been the same and that is that we
must all remember that not every woman in this world carries herself
in a respectable manner. And when rappers rap of bitches and hoes that
nine times out of ten those are the women they are rapping about. And
just because Jay-Z has and will continue to use the word bitch does
not mean that he cannot and will not be able to comfort his daughter
if a guy calls her out her name. As a woman that carries herself in a
respectable manner rappers using the word bitch has never offended me
and shouldn’t offend any woman who knows she is not a bitch.

As authentic as we as claim to be, we all are players of the game of some sort.
Our different personalities within ourselves will bring out a different representative for each situation that we find ourselves in. Social settings will mold you into a different person that will change as drastic as the January temperature in Ohio. You can know one man, and ask 7 different people to describe him and each one will be as different as the days of the week.
He can be the MAN in a social setting as far as clubs… or he can be the meek Church boy… or he can be the angry babydaddy to someone. Each personality we inhibit come out when we want them to. It’s all a game.
Men and women always are their best versions of themselves the first 30 to 60 days for courting someone. Our etiquette, our tone, our visual presentation is at it’s zenith. GAME. We remember certain dates, keep receipts of special dates, send good morning/night texts. GAME. We are more ambitious, more open for new things, and more expressive. GAME. All up until that “seal” is broken.
Ladies will wear that favorite type of outfit that you said you like on twitter when you were doing the #30FavoriteThings and guys will buy that one bottle of cologne that you always seem to swoon over when just the name of it is brought up. We watch those tweets. We know what you like and we are taking notes. It’s all a part of the game.
We all know the art of dating is lost, but chivalry isn’t completely dead. The thing that kills it is the lack of respect for it. Too many “Miss Rights” going for “Mr. Wrong”. Then the chivalrous nigga will see this and be like WTF am I doing all this for? That’s when things change. Every nigga has been smoked by a female that he was tryna romance because she wanted the thrill of some grimier nigga. Ladies, knowing this, you have to figure out which guy you are dating. We all have both guys in us, you just have to figure which one are you speaking to. Knowing this, handle with care. You will be affecting many lives down the road. If you handle that good man maturely, rather it be “friend zonin’” or taking to the next level. You will be doing the world a great service. Now if you spin that nice guy, you are spawning one of the niggas you currently complain about.
Then when it comes to guy when you’re dating these women, treat each one different. The same things don’t work on each woman. Learn them and make each experience special. Be aware though. 95% of the time, you aren’t the only nigga at her, regardless of what she says or how lonely her tweets might sound on a Saturday night. Knowing this, take them off that pedestal and give them the real and direct you. That way they can either take it or leave it. You never wanna hear the babe say “Oh you liked me? You shouldda told me, I always thought you were cute.” While she is now in a relationship with some other dude. Now you are living in Marvin’s room.
It’s all a game though. Either she keeps you around because she sees your potential or this cold weather got her wanting to be warmed up by more than a body pillow. This is something that only she knows. You just have to be ready to play your position when your number is called or change teams. A real indirect nigga will keep a bench warm. So learn that if you aren’t sending those right signals, you will end up in purgatory quicker than you can spell “bestie”. You don’t want that. Male or female. So even if you need that liquid courage. Shoot that thrist, just so you can AT LEAST establish your motives. Allow the person being courted to have the chance to know which way to go. Either way, you will get results. If its not the one you want, use it as motivation to get better to show them what they are missing out on. If it’s the good result, then you can just thank me later.

SAY IT AINT SOOOOOOO…. SAY IT AINT SOOOOOOOO….. This single handily might be the saddest last few months of a person’s life… On January 22, 2012 we lost another legend in the sports world. Joseph Vincent "Joe" Paterno, also know as Joe Pa passed away due to complications from lung cancer… Joe Pa was the was named the winningest coach in Division I history in late 2011 with 409 wins, 136 losses, and 3 ties. In his 46 seasons as a head coach, he had 38 winning seasons, one more than Bear Bryant. Based on the criteria used by the NCAA, Paterno holds the record for most victories by a Division I-A/FBS football coach, passing Eddie Robinson's 408 victories on October 29, 2011, against Illinois…. In early November, long-time assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested and charged with child sexual abuse and due to him not reporting the allegations to police, Paterno was fired. Later on that same month his son, Scott Paterno reported that Joe Pa had a treatable form of lung cancer. On January 12, Paterno was hospitalized in State College for complications relating to his cancer treatment, and he remained there until his death nine days later on January 22, 2012…. But since this is a blog and you want to hear my opinion as well as the facts…. And my opinion is this I think that Joe Pa was just sad at the fact that he wasn’t going to be a coaching anymore… His heart was broken…. Joe Pa was disrespected by people that wasn’t even there when we started coaching…. He was the head coach at Penn State University for 46 years…. I really don’t even have anymore words really to say about this …. Its just a sad, sad day…. Until next time…
